RULES OF THE OFFSHORE POLLUTION LIABILITY ASSOCIATION LIMITED
(as at 1st August, 1996)

PART I - DEFINITIONS

The definitions contained in the Offshore Pollution Liability Agreement shall be applicable to these
Rules and in addition the following words shall have the following meanings:

(a) "The Directors" means the Board of Directors for the time being of the Association.

(b) "Member" means a member of the Association.

(c) "Memorandum and Articles of Association" means the Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Association

(d) "OPOL" means the Offshore Pollution Liability Agreement dated 4th September 1974, as amended
from time to time.
