RULES OF THE OFFSHORE POLLUTION LIABILITY ASSOCIATION LIMITED
(as at 1st August, 1996)

 

PART III - DESIGNATED OFFSHORE FACILITIES

3 .1 Notification by Members to the Association

In accordance with Clause II.C.I of OPOL each Member shall from time to time by giving notice in writing to the Association, in the form set out in Forms C and D of these Rules, Designate the Licences of which it is the Operator and inform the Association of its Designated Offshore Facilities (as defined in OPOL and of a kind hereinafter described for the purposes of this Rule) to which OPOL is applicable.

3 .2 Notification by the Association to States

The Association shall at the request of a Designated State provide that State with a list of its Members who are Operators within the jurisdiction of that State, specifying their respective Designated Offshore Facilities to which OPOL is applicable.

The Association shall confirm to that State that such Members have complied with the Rules of the Association relating to the provision of evidence of financial responsibility.
